The reporter (very kind) is doing my story and told me he contacted the Will County State’s Attorney office to ask about my case, and they told him they were reviewing my case. If that’s true, great, if not, I know political talk.
But, I’ve decided (as I shared) that I’m not going to pursue criminal charges. Meaning, I’m not going to hound the police or state’s attorneys and push them to investigate or do their jobs. I’ve been doing that for over a year and a half and I just don’t want to do that anymore.
So, I’ll let others do it for me. Like this reporter. Let them know that the public is looking at them, looking at this case, and want action. That doesn’t have to come from me. I’m blessed to have so many people who care and I’m going to share the care for the fight.
