I’ve decided what I want to do with my life and it gives me more energy and fire than anything I’ve ever done.
I’ll teach for two more years, I’ll commit to that. But after that, I’m going to leave the field of education.
I’m going to start a nonprofit foundation that advocates against domestic and animal abuse.
It’s going to have different facets:
KD Counseling – trauma counselors who victims/citizens can access nationwide (maybe find a counselor in each state?)
KD Walkathon – annual walk-a-thon fundraiser
Public Speaking – I’ll go to events and talk about domestic and animal abuse. I also plan to be a consultant and travel around the country, working with police departments and prosecutors to understand domestic and animal abuse.

And so, so much more.
I’m excited for this adventure. Give me two years to get her started and when we take off, oh baby are we going to take off.
